What topics does the tour cover?
Our tour starts with a short history of chocolate followed by where & how cacao is grown in modern times.  We walk you through the processing cacao beans go through before they make it to our factory, followed by an explanation of each step we take to make our fine chocolate.  This, of course, includes samples along the way.  We do not step inside the factory, but all of the machines are clearly visible on the tour.

How long is the tour?
Approximately 45 minutes.

When should I arrive?
Please aim to arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your scheduled tour time to get checked in and look around.

How much does the tour cost?
$10 for adults and $7 for kids under 12.

Is there a special dress code?
Nope! Wear whatever is comfortable.

How far advance should I book?
We recommend booking weekend tours 3-4 weeks ahead of time.  For weekday tours, we recommend 2 weeks.  Keep in mind that tours fill up quickly during school vacations and holidays.

Do you allow walk-ins?
Unfortunately, we don't allow walk-ins on our tour at this time.  Luckily, our Irvine factory is open the public and you're always welcome to come in and shop.  If you can't make it on a guided tour, you can take a self-guided tour by walking along the walls.  All of our retail staff is very knowledgable and would love to answer any questions.

Will the factory be in operation while I’m there?
We cannot guarantee that the factory will be in production at any given moment.  While it is likely that you will see something happening, production hours do vary.

Is there parking?
We have a large parking lot right in front of our Irvine showroom.

Will there be samples on the tour?
Of course!  Tour participants get to sample cacao pulp, cocoa nibs, and cocoa liquor during the tour, along with three chocolate samples at the end of the tour.

What if I have allergies?
The majority of the samples given during the tour are both nut-free and dairy-free.  If you have any dietary restrictions, please let your tour guide know at the before the start of the tour.

How many people will be on a tour?
We limit our tour groups to 15 participants.

Can I take pictures?
Definitely!!  In fact, we encourage it.  We do ask that you refrain from taking any videos of the tour or using flash photography-- that may startle your tour guide.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?
We do not offer refunds on any tours or events.  If you cannot attend your chosen tour date, we would be more than happy to reschedule for you.

What can I eat nearby?
We are just south of the Irvine Spectrum and the Los Olivos Marketplace.  Both have a variety of great restaurants.

Do I need to make a reservation?
Yes- please! We prepare a variety of samples for the tour and need a headcount to set it up.
